About Micah

Micah, Dennis and their team have grown region production nearly 6-fold in 10 years, because they are able to deliver success and enjoyment to independent representatives. Micah and Dennis have depth and breadth of experience in the industry, region and with Midland National life insurance solutions. Micah and Dennis understand what independent agents desire in extremely competitive products, long-term integrity of those policies, top compensation, fast-fair-efficient underwriting and local support. Ten years later, they remain loyal to Midland National’s brand and their unique model for helping other professionals succeed.


Micah started with Midland National as a General Agent in 2002 and took on the role of Regional Sales Director in 2007 with partner, Dennis Cunningham. Together they manage the Southern California and Guam Region for Midland National. Micah has received multiple “RSD of the Year” awards at Midland National. A native of Southern California, Micah has been in the financial planning and life insurance space for almost two decades. His background in securities and insurance includes building his own book of business, running a training program, overseeing a branch office and being a top life insurance producer.

Education & Certification

Micah graduated with High Honors from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and was Team Captain of the 1997 Big Ten Championship Men’s Water Polo team. He holds his ChFC®, CLU®, AIF® designations, CA & GU Life Insurance Licenses and FINRA Series 6, 63, 7 and 66 licenses.
